ABOUT:
Cody Hooper is an Austin-based artist born and raised in North Texas, where he began watercolor classes at a young age. After years of producing realistic paintings and studying the nuance required to master movement, shadow, and light, he turned to abstraction, where he applies those same skills to create what he describes as living emotion so that viewers can explore their own spirit, inspiring who they are and what they want to become in this lifetime. His work is held in several international collections, both public and private, and he’s represented by Exposures International in Sedona, Arizona’s largest art gallery.

The painting here is a relatively small and affordable one in his body of work, as today he predominately creates large-scale, sometimes gigantic, pieces.
