ABOUT:
Chris DAZE Ellis was born in Brooklyn in 1962 and is a well-known American artist once part of the early New York City graffiti scene. He transitioned from graffiti to studio art in the 1980s, with his work shown alongside Keith Haring, Basquiat, Futura, and others, and with pieces in permanent collections at the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

He's maintained a sense of street style throughout his career, as can be seen in the work here.
