ABOUT:
Nikke Naeme, born in 1984, is an artist based in Amsterdam. Despite his love for painting, he found art school unsuited for him, and instead pursued an education in mental healthcare. He spent most of his adulthood working with children with behavioral disorders until 2021, when he became a full-time artist.

As an observer of the human psyche and behavior, his work often centers on loneliness and the darker side of the mind while having contradictory or questionable titles, such as that of the piece we have here.
