ABOUT:
Michael Wright was born in 1931 in New York, studied at Yale, and was a regimental artist during the Korean War. After returning home in the 1950’s, he began his art career in earnest as a friend and peer of Jackson Pollock and a member of the Eighth Street Art Club.

He moved around the country, driven by his love for and study of nature, before settling in Sante Fe in the 1980s, where he still lives and paints at the age of 93.
